SNOWDON WALL ART

PLEASE SELECT

Snowdon or Yr Wyddfa in Welsh is the highest mountain in Wales at an elevation of 1085 meters and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. Situated in the picturesque Snowdonia National park it is one of the busiest mountains in the United Kingdom with over half a million people making the trip to the summit each year. The summit can be reached by several paths the most popular being the Llanberis , Miners and Pyg Tracks. Alternatively it can be summited via the mountains unique rack and pinion railway from Llanberis, which was first built in Victorian times. Some of the sheer and challenging cliff faces of Snowdon which are strictly the preserve of experienced rock climbers were used in training by the successful 1953 Everest expedition  by Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing.

Our Summit Junkie artists have worked hard to provide our followers with a collection of mountain themed artwork in a variety of different mediums for both indoor and outdoor display. We hope that our art will inspire those same feelings of achievement and wonderment that you experienced on your favourite mountains.
