Sgòr an Lochain Uaine is a mountain in the Cairngorms, Scotland. At 1258 meters in height it is the fifth-highest mountain in Scotland. It is the third-highest point in the western massif of the Cairngorms, lying between Braeriach and Cairn Toul on the western side of the pass of the Lairig Ghru. Interestingly it is also known as ‘The Angels Peak’ a name allegedly given to it by Alexander Copland a founding member of the Cairngorm Club as the peak contrasts sharply to the nearby summit of  The Devils Point.
