Serles is a mountain 2717 meters high and forms part of the Stubai Alps in the Austrian region known as the Tyrol. Its nickname is Altar von Tirol, literally the Altar of Tyrol. The Serles summit is an almost completely isolated pyramid of rocks which, according to a myth, is a ferocious knight with his two sons, they were cursed by a farmer because of their violent temper, their cruelty and their barbarity. The Stubai valley in winter offers a wide range of exciting possibilities for Skiing, free riding, bob sleighing or snow shoeing.
