Scafell Pike at 978 meters is the highest mountain in England and the third highest in the UK. Located in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria it forms part of the Southern Fells. Its accessibility from several locations makes it one of the most popular mountain in the UK and over 100,000 people track to its summit each year. Access to paths up the mountain can be gained from the villages of Wastdale Head in the West, Seathwaite to the North, Langdale to the East and Eskdale to the South West. It's not only England’s highest mountain but also the UK’s highest war memorial, given to the National Trust in memory of those who died in WW1 so that people would have the freedom to enjoy the mountains.
Our Summit Junkie artists have worked hard to provide our followers with a collection of mountain themed artwork in a variety of different mediums for both indoor and outdoor display. We hope that our art will inspire those same feelings of achievement and wonderment that you experienced on your favourite mountains.
