MUNRO'S
A Munro is mountain in Scotland with a height of over 3000 feet (915 meters), the best known being Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. The Munro's are names after Sir Hugh Munro (1856-1919), who produced the first list of mountains known as the Munro’s Tables in 1891. Munro Bagging has become a pursuit of many walker and climber who set out to climb all 282 Munro defined mountains and peaks.
