MOUNT WASHINGTON
Mount Washington at a height of 1916m (6288 ft) is called Agiocochook by some Native American tribes and is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States and offers spectacular view from the summit. The mountain is notorious for its erratic weather and anyone contemplating a walk to its summit should familiarize themselves with its notorious dramatic weather changes which can see temperatures suddenly dropping to those experienced in the Antarctic.
