CASTLE CRAG-WAINWRIGHT COLLECTION
A Wainwright is the summit of what Alfred Wainwright (1907-1991) thought were true Cumbrian fell tops. There are a total of 214 ‘Wainwrights’ which have over the years become a very popular pastime for all the many Wainwright Baggers.
Castle Crag 290m is a hill in the North Western Fells of the English Lake District. It is the smallest hill included in Alfred Wainwright's guides and the only Wainwright below 1,000 feet.
