Buachaille Etive Mòr stands at 1021 meters and translates from the native Scottish Gaelic language into English to ‘The Herdsman of Etive’. Often referred to by walkers and climbers as simply ‘The Buachaille’, it occupies an impressive location at the head of Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands and is one of the most impressive and recognizable mountains in Scotland It is frequently depicted on postcards and calendars promoting the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
