3 Peaks Challenge

The 3 Peaks National Challenge (England, Scotland, Wales)has become one of the country’s most popular challenge and each year many thousands of individual, groups set out to complete the challenge of climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours. Successful challengers will cover a total of 23 miles (37km) and ascending a total of 3064 meters (10,052ft). The distance covered on roads between the peaks is 462 miles. Many participants choose to ark the challenge with a group event raising monies for charity or simply to complete a particular part of their own bucket list. Whatever the reason a participant in the challenge will not only clock up a memorable lifetime experience but will if they’re really lucky get to enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises over some of the country’s most beautiful mountain scenery.
